small sketch animation! I had a lot of fun with this lol please take some time to admire my cursed thumbnail :] Kyreah sat in his room (cell?) tears dripping down his blo0dy snout. He had just returned from another "expedition", in which their captors possessed them completely and sent them out into the real world. He had no control over his body then, and the Creators could do whatever they wanted with him. He was designed dangerously for a reason, and the blo0d of his victims often stained his snout. The victims were all sorts of creatures, living their own lives on their own. Somehow they made the mistake of getting involved with the Creators, and they paid the price. Ky knew it wasn't really him, it wasn't his control, but they didn't know that. All they knew was that he was the thing who ended their lives. Soon though, soon he would break his chains, unclip his wings, and soar far, far, far away from this desolate prison. Soon. So very soon. -- So, so long ago he fled. Still, he was plagued by nightmares... no, not nightmares, *memories*. He would never outrun them, he knew. But at least he was away, never needed to harm anyone. He was safe, they were safe. -- Kyreah stared at the ground in horror. His fear felt fitting for the time... it was about the time the village children would be dressing up in their costumes and going house to house for handouts. One of his pastimes was watching the villagers- from a distance, of course. But that was beside the point. He continued to stare down, trembling slightly in the autumn breeze. A small whirlwind of leaves had spun up, reveal the muddy forest floor beneath. And something else. A pawprint. They snarled softly, fear softening his brain. He turned and ran back to his cave, running through the small tunnels he knew like the back of his hand, popping out into the small cave that held his nest and meager belongings. He knew he needed to sleep on it, find a solution- and soon. -- It had been almost a year since he first found the pawprint. He was happier now, now that he met her. She had the same problems as Kyreah. She was also a bioengineered monster, that had been used as the Creator's toy before his creation. She also lived with the pain and sorrow of the many k!llings she was forced to commit. But it was okay now! They had both escaped, and they were FREE. That was all that mattered. -- It had been several hours, trapped in the cramped cage. The tears had finally stopped, leaving Kyreah... empty. Nothing was the same anymore... and just like before, he couldn't escape. All because of her. He blindly trusted her, loved her, even. And she betrayed him. She wasn't even possessed, she just trusted and loved the Creators enough to do their bidding freely- that and bloodlust. But that didn't matter. Nothing mattered. He was trapped, again, and there was nothing he could do. --CREDITS-- Art, animation and story created by me, Character, Kyreah, belongs currently to
