Ruby sighed. another day of hiding who she was and pretending she was a human. "I hate hiding like this." she thought to herself. "but if I come out I will be like the other alterhumans I have heard of, the ones who were bullied or even k!lled!" sadly, she stared at her cereal. She had only taken a few bites, but she was no longer hungry. She heard her mother approaching, so she turned around to see her smiling and holding her dragon wings and tail "why don't you wear these today ruby?" she asked. "go and express your otherkinity!" Ruby shook her head and grabbed her bag. Her mom smiled "that's the bus! have fun today sweetheart!" Ruby smiled, but It was quickly replaced by a frown as she stepped on the bus and sat next to her friend Abigail who said "so ruby, have you heard about the girl who thinks she's an OBJECT!?"
