The desperation of the Central Government to maintain Blerper democracy combined with the struggle of Josef Spetzbanen to keep Spetzbanen Heavy Industries afloat has produced something that just weeks ago was thought "a dumb idea". There is now an AI in Blerpusdorf's governance. Num-AI, as it has been named, is a very low-level, simple AI program designed specifically to crunch numbers and data. It is, therefore, used to free up staff otherwise needed for processing such things, so that the Central Government can assign these staff members to fighting back the forces of was-General Ketz. Num-AI has already been put into use in a few low-level, simplistic clerical jobs across the government, where it will be tested. While both Josef Spetzbanen and the Central Government are desperate for Num-AI to work, the AI will be immediately dismantled and disposed of if it does not meet the standards wished for by both parties. Of course, this begs the question from skeptics: What if we get an UKAC repeat? Josef has assured the general public that the AI's low level of intelligence and freedoms will prevent it from developing true sentience and capitulating the government. He's also reminded everyone that the AI will only occupy clerical positions, nothing with the access or power to perform a coup. On top of this, ten unique and different kill codes have been implemented that the AI has not been informed of, which should calm most concerns. So it seems that Num-AI is practically foolproof... ...right?
obligatory blerpusdorf ai because all the cool kids are doing it @ilovefish282 i'd rather double it and pass it to the next person than get slimed for making ai i'll advance the blerper civil war plot tomorrow probably the malicious "...right?" at the end is only if somebody decides to interrupt or something, i do NOT plan on having blerpusdorf collapse to ai
