Just a small tangent about a weird and somewhat disturbing internet phenomonom I've noticed for the past couple of years... Do I care too much about it? Yes. Will this ever lead to anything being done about it? Probably not, but who knows, and more importantly, who cares. >>
Fun fact, the phrase "." (the subject of this very project) is actually blacklisted from showing results on Scratch (Which is reserved for terms not deemed "safe for work"). This is because of the "Full Stop Punctuation" trend that happened a couple of years, where people found a way to bypass moderation, doing so by simply titling their video "." (or "Full Stop Punctuation"). Using this term, they would upload very disturbing content that always had millions of views, but never got taken down. Funnily enough, if you search up "Full Stop Punctuation" on scratch, you WILL see some disturbing (though not explicit) content as well, which is an especially interesting anomaly considering the fact that scratch supposedly doesn't use and AI moderation system, so there is pretty much no reason to do this in the first place... The internet is a very large place, like a body of ocean, it gets darker the further you go, but some of it's biggest dangers lay right at the surface. Just a bit of food for thought, see ya!
