Took about 6 hours to code. One sprite, 0 clones. 518 blocks Here is the order that I took to making this project (with bug fixing intertwined ofc) 1. make it draw the grid and adding a setup function (which got more long as this project grew) 2. making it use data to store the level. 3. creating each piece manually in pieceData 4. making it draw the pieces on the side. 5. making the pieces draggable. 6. adding a highlight under the piece. 7. filling the placement highlight when the piece is placed. 8. adding rules to the highlight so it only can fill if it isnt inside already filled piece (collision) 9. fixing edge overflow when filling (very hard) 10. lots of polishing on the checking system for piece placement. 11. adding colors to the game. 12. adding a reset button. 13. adding score/WR 14. highlighting the line that is going to be cleared 15. making hard pieces less likely to appear I am very proud of how I made this, it is a lot better than a similar project I made in the past, Tetris. //Remixer notes// If you are savvy enough, you can make custom pieces pretty easily by adding new values the pieceData list, and you can quicken this editor process by making one of the dragging pieces on the right's ID to the id of the new piece (so prob 27 or higher) I did this when making my pieces. Or use length of piecedata as the ID of the drawPiece function. Good luck!
