Kai (orange haired boy) is one of her old friends asked the question of why Kora is so standoffish when being touched and only allows her EXTREMELY close friends touch her, without her freaking out or becoming defensive. Kora was broomed (replace the b with a g) by her biological father as seen in the last clip. Not all brooming (replace the b with a g) looks like that, and can be done through manipulation and other acts but Kora's father was mostly doing it through acts of touch. She grew up around his actions and considered it normal until in 7th grade when she told her friend what her daughter-dad relationship dynamic was and she got the proper help, and her dad was arrested.
