With the offensive to the south underway, a large group of several thousand troops lay siege to the island's city, due to the blockade imposed by the navy, supplies and reinforcements cannot reach the city. After days of heavy fighting the enemy have realized how outnumbered they are and are forced to realize that countined fighting would lead to a worse defeat. And so, what remains of 100,000 enemy troops have surrendered to the Imperial Armed Forces. These new POWs are sent to temporary POW camps to do labor, as they need to be of some use to the glorious nation. Meanwhile in the south, LRRGs have been formed, made up of daring commandos, who would ride light trucks, and explosives, so that they would sabatoge enemy supply lines and carry other kinds of raids in the hot desert regions.
