The Mark 9 was part of a project to successfully make big "heavy" tanks that could counter and easily destroy the usually lighter and lighter armed tanks of other nations. And by 1929, it was put into service, with mass produced of the tank to over a few hundred, and more being currently produced for a future war effort. The sleeping giant wakes........
