He originally did rescue work, but became a soldier and repurposed his water pipes to shoot fire instead. Even though Hot Rod is immature, he has traits that make him capable of becoming a great leader. For example, being brave, charismatic, and a good negotiator. These leader-like qualities would slowly show as he matured, eventually even becoming the next Prime. Name: Rodimus Prime Alt Mode: Cybertronian Rescue Car Faction: Autobot Gender: Male It’s a wonder to most how the brash Hot Rod ever grew to learn responsibility and humility. But somehow he did and became Rodimus Prime. Even though he changed a lot from when he was Hot Rod, Rodimus is still the same brave and charismatic bot who loves the thrill of adventure. Rodimus acts as a representative of Cybertron, but has no say in how Cybertron should be ruled because of the actions of past Primes. Instead Rodimus commands a ship with a crew of roughly 300 called the Lost Light to go on diplomatic missions. Even though his crewmates love and look up to him, Rodimus holds the fear that he’ll end up as a failure who will only live in the shadow of Optimus Prime.
