This project utilizes a proprietary Dermal-Mapping Shader to simulate hyper-realistic organic textures within a 3D Euclidean space. Unlike standard Minecraft voxels, these "Skin-Blocks" feature: Follicle Density Randomization: Each block generates unique hair-placement patterns. Pore-Depth Parallax: Simulates realistic skin texture without the need for high-poly geometry. Squelch-Physics: (Coming soon) Realistic audio feedback for player interaction. Special Thanks: griffpatch: For the inspiration to push the limits of what should be allowed on this site. The Scratch Team: For their "enthusiastic" feedback on my previous organic studies. My Dermatologist: For the reference photos.
Instructions: Click the Green Flag. Do not look directly into the pores. If the block starts sweating, please refresh the page. Patch Notes: v1.4 - The Follicle Update [Optimized] Pore Rendering: Reduced lag when rendering over 5,000 individual pores in a single chunk. [Fixed] "The Ingrown Bug": Resolved an issue where blocks would occasionally grow hair inward, causing the physics engine to collapse from internal pressure. [Added] Dynamic Hydration: Blocks now appear 15% shinier during rain animations to simulate realistic sweat/moisture. [New Feature] Seasonal Shedding: In the "Winter" biome, blocks will now experience dryness; players can apply a "Lotion Tool" (Work in Progress) to restore the smooth voxel texture. [Safety] Anti-Razor Logic: Removed the ability to "shear" the blocks after a traumatic incident with the Scratch Cat’s clipping mask.
