New project cool ------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have moderators for your games or you have multiple "higher rank trusted people" who suggest stuff for your games, wouldn't it be nice if they had their own system that allowed them to message the creator directly through the cloud? Now, with this backpackable project, you can do just that! Just connect the encoding script to the "when this sprite clicked" block, add a button to your games that triggers the message sending, drop this into your project, link them, limit it to trusted people and that's it! This will avoid silly troll commenters from suggesting bad things for your games. I've named this list "suggestions" just as an example. Have fun! I'm gonna use this for my own projects. TO ADAPT FOR YOUR PROJECT: When adapting this for your projects, go to a blank sprite, delete the cloud variables and readd them, they get converted to normal variables with the cloud symbol in their name, and don't work, so this is required to make them work again, without having to rebuild the scripts from memory after accidentally deleting them. Connect the "when this sprite clicked" hat block to the encoding script to enable functionality. Change any values indicated with the comments in the project, and you're good to go. NOTE: everything is not case-sensitive (lowercase only, which applies to usernames), the list has no limit, the "Update ID" and "Suggestions" variables need to be reset or shortened/decreased to blank/0 every once in a while, there is no chat filtering due to not knowing how to do it. If you have any fixes, comment here or on my profile. NOTE 2: This is fully functional, but it doesn't work in this project due to being a generic backpackable, allowing every single signed in Scratcher to comment, turning this into a world chat, which is not allowed without chat filtering, which I have not included. Follow the conversion information paragraph above ("TO ADAPT FOR YOUR PROJECT"). ChatGPT helped me with some code, giving me a plan to work all of this out. I mostly did the thinking though, and since it can't generate scratch files I copied all necessary code myself. Made in 2 days. and I will improve this if necessary.
