About me~ Hi! I'm @Houndflight_ToPH. I go by Nyx, and I'm a trans demiboy. I am a headmate of a system, so I switch between using I/me and we/us ^^. I've been writing for... a while, I have books that little me was writing all the way back when I was 8 so it's been quite a bit! I've been roleplaying on Scratch for about a year and a half now, mainly in Generations. However, I have been freed from my Grindclan (UrchinClan) jail to join the much more lwk FlurryClan, so I have time for other roleplays now too! This will be my first TSS kit if I get him (not for lack of trying) but I also just... didn't try very hard in my previous applications. TSS has been something I'm /aware/ of, but never quite felt ready to dive into... until now. See, my new generations character is an endogenic system, and I had the definitely not plagiarized idea of having my headmates RP Thorn's different headmates. So now I have a lot more free time on my hands when I'm fronting knowing that only about 1/8 of the thread Thorn's in I actually have to reply to. Our manager is trying to tell me that's not how time works but hey! Being time blind (idk the correct term-) is a Hallmark of ADHD so- (i'm kidding I am active I promise) Well this got really long and it's not even the part you really care about so let's just- move on shall we? Idea dump~ Ok ok ok so I want Para to be slightly based off of bubble (cause that's who their design is based on) but also a bit more... actually personality? idk if that makes sense- Basically, I want Par to be a chaos bean. He's just existing ok? He's definitely CN/CG, just here to trip everyone up. (as i'm writing this I realize it sounds sorta like Jax's description of himself- he's Bubble. Not Jax. Bubble. Not Jax. ok now i'm quoting emperor's new groove- help me there's too many references going on here) Uh so Sisi's going to be not the brightest, loud, sarcastic, and absolutely obsessed with anything and everything to do with bubbles. How does an Ice clan cat know about bubbles?... Moving on! Research~ Para has Macroglossia. This means that his tongue is larger than typical. His tongue will flop out, because otherwise it could block his airways and cause him to die. This means that he has difficulty eating and chewing, as well as saying certain words or sounds. Macroglossia also can lead to obstructive sleep apnea, due to his tongue falling back and blocking his airways when he's asleep. He likely has to sleep in certain positions so he is able to breathe. He will also likely need to learn SSL in order to be able to communicate effectively. Macroglossia can have several causes, and it often comes with other health disorders, such as down syndrome. However, it is possible to have Macroglossia without any other health issues, which is what Para will have. Para will be /able/ to speak, sort of, but will have a speech impairment, meaning that he will be hard to understand and will rely mostly on sign language (which iirc Riverrunner knows some to help him). TL;DR: Para will have problems breathing, eating, sleeping, and speaking due to his oversized tongue. Parasitekit also has OSDD-1B. OSDD stands for other specified dissociative disorder. This is caused by trauma, usually familial though not always. In Para's case, it will be cause by the neglect from Riverrunner due to them not knowing how to be a parent/not really caring. The first headmate to form will be Featherburr, at about 3 moons. Feather will be one of the caretakers, known by the rest of the system as their parents. At 4 moons, Bubble will form. Bubble is their little, meaning that they are always young. They will be an objectkin of a bubble, and is a literal bubble. Bubble's role will mainly be to be Para's friend when he is younger. The system will have three caretakers, being Featherburr, Icicle, and Starburst. They are varying ages, Feather being around 16 moons, Ice being about 30, and Star being basically the grandamma at 100 moons old. Ice and Star can't front, but Feather can, and does occasionally. Their trauma holder is Semblance, who is basically a genderless void. It makes sure no one else has to deal with the trauma. All of the headmates are IceClan cats, other than Starburst, Semblance, and Bubble, who are a normal cat, a void, and a bubble, respectively. Parasite will be the host, with Featherburr being the co-host at first, and later Semblance being the co-host. The system might develop more alters as they grow and new ones are needed. They do not have amnesia barriers, but they do have emotional amnesia barriers, meaning that they remember events but not the feelings that went along with it. Lemme know if I need anything added!!
Guys I just now saw that most of what I put for research so far ALSO works for Macroglossia- hehehehe Smol note for how i'm dealing with SSL with a system: The littles (+ dynamic when younger) will be a level BELOW the other headmates (cause they're younger) (not when they only have level one though) and the older headmates (+ dynamic when older) will hesitate less when signing and learn more quickly. The base level (the highest level any of the headmates can go) will be the level that the system has as a whole. (It's assumed that they teach each other + new headmates how to sign btw) ALSO! They can speak in the headspace! And can co-front! So new headmates might attempt to speak, but it will be hard to understand and will mainly stick to signing.
