Backstory timmmeee yay: Erin was unlucky enough to be born of Nemesis, meaning she had to take up her mother’s legacy and finish all the tasks on her mother’s… revenge list? Idrk. Erin was orphaned as a child, as her father expired and Nemesis didn’t really care about her, just her purpose. Erin was eventually adopted by a local writer named Rhea. Rhea raised Erin like you would expect from an intellectual writer, trying to get her to focus on academics and practicing her writing. Only one of those worked, as Erin always brings a journal with her, but Erin also got kicked out of schools often, due to her trying to finish some revenge quests, her low grades (besides English), and her overall feisty personality. Eventually, she moved to Iris’s school, where she finally made friends yip e. Ambrose didn’t have the best childhood. His father was a grieving widower who had recently fallen head over heels for Hecate - who he thought was an actor named Haley. They had Ambrose, and Ambrose’s father decided to get into religion to help with his grief. This didn’t work, and when Hecate attempted to save him with magic, Ambrose’s father simply condemned her and her “demonic” magic. Eventually, Ambrose also revealed his powers in fifth grade, in an accident that injured several other students. He was sent to a Catholic school, and often had to stay overnight since his father wasn’t home often. After a couple of years, Ambrose became submissive and fearful enough of his own abilities that his father took him out of the school and moved him to a local middle school (Iris and Erin’s school). When Ambrose got there, he finally was able to connect with Iris and Erin, who also had powers, like him. Iris had a pretty normal life. Basically she was popular but then all her friends screwed her over but she was still popular just alone and she eventually made friends with Erin and Ambrose! She also totally knows Russian and will tell anyone that кабачок is the most important Russian word even though it just means zucchini. The main story of this trio is that Erin and Ambrose who recently moved into this new school make friends with Iris and have to stop this curse thing caused by some relic, but this one kid whos a child of Zeus is like NUH UH it’s DANGEROUS how dar you and they kinda stage a magic rebellion and curse stuff yip e!
