I was finishing my first game "Flappy Bird" with my Friend and I thought about a challenge I could set for myself. I came up with "Tic Tac Toe". With a CPU and an online mode!! I started working on it and made steady progress. It didnt looked good or smth clean like now, it was just the board with clickable fields. At the start of November I was finished with the main game. Just a local mode with a functional win detection and small animation. Then I started with the biggest thing: The CPU. The whole November I was working on it. Like 3-4 Hours a day. My first versions were done after a few days and friends at my school tested it and found ways to beat it. I filled the lacks and made the CPU as impossible as impossible I could. In that time, like 14th of November, I was in the Computer Science Club or "Informatik AG" in German, and showed the CPU my teacher and class mates! My teacher found it stunning and was very impressed, that gave me the confident to finish the CPU and online mode. At the end of November the CPU was complete. It was really impossible! At that time I've already added an UI to select the mode and the difficulty of the CPU. Start of December: I started with the online mode and it was very hard for me! I struggled, but I had an Idea how to code it. But then disaster struck... I dont what really happend, but I couldn't test my cloud code, cause I couldn't send updates to the cloud servers. But my alt could. So I was sure that I got cloud banned.. why? I really dont know. That completely killed my enthusiasm for the project. So it stood still. For days.. weeks.. then start of 2026, like 5th of January I tried again with TurboWarp. I just coded a little bit but I didn't really wanted to so a few days later I "quitted" Scratch. I focused on other, more important stuff. Well well well, fast forward to February were we had to make a game in our Computer Class. We had almost two months to make it. In that two months I created: Pixel Warp ( Yeah. After that I had fun with Scratch again! And in some week in may I wanted to finish polishing Tic-Tac-Toe. So I did. I created a new Background, added Sounds, added Buttons & Effects, added a Thumbnail and just finished polishing the art. But still I didn't touched the online mode. Why? Cause I share bad memories with it and I no longer had the desire to work on it. So I disabled it. After that I forgot the project. I left it untouched until today! And there you have it. You've made it. Now you know the story behind this. Thank you for reading this. It means a lot to me <3 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– I wont finish the online mode. If you want to finish it, go ahead. The cloud code is bad. Well.. it was a year ago. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ================= NOTES ================== This Project means a lot to me personally.
