Jaerin stirs awake. The light outside the cell is still there, faintly leaking through the hallway beyond the door, but it isn’t as bright as it was before. It has dimmed, softening into that dull gray glow that comes when time has passed but you have no real way of knowing how much. Hours, maybe. Your stomach reminds you of something. You’re hungry. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem. A seadweller like you would have access to far better food than whatever scraps landdwellers shove into their mouths. Fresh catches. Real meals. But this isn’t your hive. This is a jail cell. And jail cells aren’t known for catering to the dietary preferences of violet-blooded seadwellers. - - - - This story is interactable! Because I have a hard time drawing panels, I'm gonna try to go for the sort of Beyond-Cannon-ish style of just writing for a bit.
