I see a scraggly black blur running outside the apartment window, and immediately recognize it as my cat, Lavender! I immediately grab my shoes and run all the way down the stairs. As I got outside I realized it was raining, but I kept going. I immediately picked up Lavender and went back upstairs to the apartment. As I walked in the apartment, I saw my mom, cooking some dinner. Lavender scrambled out of my grasp, as I went over to the kitchen area, where mom cooked quesadillas, my favorite! “Mind grabbing your sister and telling her dinner’s about ready?” she asked, smiling. “Yeah sure!” I said racing to me and my sister, Bailey’s, room. “Mom said dinner’s almost ready!” I said, poking my head in quickly and racing back out with Bailey trailing behind me. We sat down together on the couch, and turned on the TV. “Can we watch something that isn't Mean Girls?” Bailey asked jokingly. “Nope!” I said, elbowing her playfully. Mom came over handing us both a plate, as she sat down in a recliner by the couch. Lavender came up on the couch with one of my other cats, Moose, and they both cuddled up near me and Bailey. Once we finished eating, and watching the movie, I went over to the small kitchen and fed my 6 cats, Lavender, Moose, Mischief, sky, Croven, and Crooked. I then went to the bathroom and took a shower, once out and in my PJs i immediately went to bed, with Lavender coming to snuggle up. I looked around, I was in a vast, open field. Then, I saw it, young girl, maybe 8 years old, standing in the middle in a frilly, white night gown. “Run, Bly please run!” she shouted at me, and I felt a hand on my shoulder. My eyes shot open as I shot up in my bed. “Bly? You ok?” my sister asked from the top bunk of the bunkbed we had. “Y-yeah, just a nightmare!” I said, stretching as I got out of bed. “Well mom made pancakes, and today is the last day before winter break!” she said playfully, as she walked out the room with her clothes to go change in the bathroom. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out some clothes, a white tank top, a pink skirt going just above my knees, and a light pink cardigan. I walked out to my sister sitting at the table with mom, eating some pancakes that smelt like heaven. “Morning Bly!” my mom called from the kitchen as she flipped a pancake. “Hey mom!” I said happily as I got myself a plate, adding on some blueberries on top, and sat down by my sister. “I’m so excited to see Emily and Rex!” I mumbled, pancake in my mouth. Once I finished I snatched up my backpack and ran out to the bus stop, waving to my moms car as she came out of the apartment complex to drive Bailey to school, since we went to different schools, as I’m in 8th grade and she’s in 5th. I boarded the bus and went to the very back, where I sat with Rex and had Emily across the aisle in one of those weird single seats in the back. “Hey dude!” Rex said as I sat down in the seat with them sitting by the window, and me sitting in the aisle seat. “HI BLY!” said an eager Emily. “Hey guys!” I was equally excited for our 3 day sleepover later today. “You remembered the snacks, right?” Rex questioned, a concerned look on her face “I-uh kinda forgot!” I said awkwardly. “It’s fine, we can go to the store after school!” Emily said happily as we pulled into the school. “See you guys at lunch!” she said as we filed out of the bus, while I thought of the weird dream I had. *~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*~+* I know its short but I'm really proud of this! 4 of the cats are named after my scratch friends photo from a certain red inspiring pin app song is ~ HOT TO GO by Chappell Roan Prev ~ N/A First ~ you're here!
