hey! this is my entry!! I named her biolumi constellation (do not ask why idk ToT) but i call her biolumi or bc for short click to see detail and space key or arrow keys to move slides. the first slide is the drawing and the next few are the steps I took to complete :D I had a lot of fun drawing her!!!!! I really enjoy the design and I hope you enjoy my art! Backstory: (if i win, im using her in my roleplay) Biolumi was just another oddity of the creatures in the sea of wishes. The sea of Wishes connects to a small remote island on earth where people live. But not ordinary people. These people can change into animals. (go to my profile and clcik on my studio "The saturn trials" to learn more) Anyway, these people have to go into trials every year from ages 13-20. Once year, the 16 year olds were all doing their trial. Their trial had a giant ocean with only a few islands scattered around them. They were out looking for fish, when one of them noticed this small...cat creature? They picked it up out of the water and it blinked its huge starry eyes at them. "Oh my goodness..." said one of the boys. "This species was thought to be extinct. This may very well be the last of it's kind." he said "Well, tell us what it is already!" exclaimed a girl named brooke. "It does not have a name. People could not think of a name for it as it was seen as more of a god than an animal species." "What happened to them?" asked brooke. "No one knows. They just...dissapeared. But the people who make the trials must have...found one." Backstory, pt 2 (biolumi's perspective) (Biolumi doens't really "think" she has about the brain of a smart cat, but she does feel emotions very similar to humans.) She was fishing in the ocean. She was looking for her family. Where had they gone? Just as a row of fish swam by, a large claw spept toward her. she ducked out of the way...but it was too late. She awoke in a small pool of water and opened her eyes to many bright lights and large, funny looking creatures peering at her. She whimprered and curled herself into a ball. This time, she awoke outside. in a large ocean. She blinked curiously and looked around. No creatures to be seen. She swam cautiously forward. Nothing moved. A fish swam by. Stillness. She could tell this was not her home. The water was too cold, the constant quiet was...eerie. Where was she? She swam for hours, trying to find her way out of this false ocean. Suddenly a pair of hand grabbed her out of the water. More creatures. But these ones were younger. They were not poking at her or shoving light into her mouth. Just..... looking. So she looked back. and that was that.
