Cloned pendulums swing by sine function. They're the same length but have increasing phase (or starting position) creating a "phase wave". These undamped virtual pendulums never stop and can go through each other so we can see the pure mathematical pattern, not simulate physical pendulums Pendulums in-phase swing together (0° difference). Out-of-phase pendulums go opposite ways (180° diff) In-between (mixed) creates beautiful wave patterns
