Okay, so, I'm a bit of a heavy overthinker, and I'm sure a good amount of you are too. But sometimes I overthink too much. You see, I get these things that I like to call "philosophical attacks". They usually start with me being bored and randomly fixating on some random concept, usually related to something in the universe or related to physics or a theory. Eventually, I start overthinking it, and overthinking it, and overthinking it, until I fall down a rabbithole. I start asking myself very existential and paradoxical questions and stressing myself out trying to figure out the concept. I become way too aware and I have to force myself to take my mind off of it and distract myself. I try to avoid doing this since I know overthinking things can negatively affect my mental and emotional health.. but I find it hard to control. For example, earlier today I was thinking about the multiverse theory, and how it relates to the possibility of there being multiple universes, each with an infinite amount of possibilities and alterations. But then I started thinking, "If that's the case, wouldn't that also mean there's a universe where it isn't true..?" and I fell down a paradoxical rabbithole and had to take my mind off of it by doodling. I dunno, it might be related to my anxiety disorder or I might just be goofy in the head, but I get involuntarily philosophical way too often. I'm like those toddlers that stop for a second to ask why they know that they exist before continuing to devour play-doh like a michelin star meal lmao
More of a rant than a vent
