At first, you might see only a desert and a few cacti. However, by moving the mouse, a city reveals itself behind it. The city has technology (skyscrapers), economy (shops), and religion (church). The reason why a Single Story is dangerous, as suggested by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, isn't because it's false, but because it's incomplete. Sure, there is a desert, but also a city. Of course, there are cacti, but so are there trees and buildings. If you only see a "Single Story", you'd likely be limited to only that and fail to see all sides of it. In this project, the desert is only a cover for the amazing city under it.
Thanks to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for suggesting the term "Single Story".
