Formerly known as Unicellular Sandbox. A sandbox simulation game about spawning microorganisms in a microscope's view and watching them eat or interact. One of the largest microbiology-themed sandbox games, the game is semi-accurate with large amounts of research done in producing the organisms, though there are a few creative liberties, such as mashing up organisms from different time periods where they wouldn't interact, color stylization, oversimplifying organism designs and/or behaviors, and deliberately scaling down large organisms(e.g Chaos, Pelomyxa) for fair gameplay purposes(so they won't take up the whole screen). [I] to open the toolbox and spawn organisms, or just tap the buttons if you're on mobile Left/Right arrows to move through pages in the toolbox
Revamp Update! *For the sake of game variety, strict accuracy has been abandoned, and microorganism from different environments(e.g saltwater, soil) are now mashed up together. Thus, it is no longer certain to say that the game takes place in freshwater, and prioritizes diversity and microbial interactions over realism. *Some organisms have been accurately scaled down in comparison to other microorganisms *Game has been renamed to "Microbial Sandbox", as certain complex life are included and cannot be considered unicellular *New thumbnail *Vibrio cholerae redesign! *New ambience *Removed seasonal backgrounds and April Fools content *Prey will now shrink away when eaten rather than abruptly disappearing *Background lighting expanded *To save space, button icons have been nerfed and no longer have preview animations *Overhauled eating sounds and background ambience *Added a bunch of new organisms! *Complex animals can now hatch from eggs. They take around 9 seconds to grow In-game music and sounds are from Bionix: Spore Evolution Sim 3D. Ambience is from BFDI Branches. Large amounts of research was done making the game If requesting any ideas or remixes, please let me know.
