RTI and Alstom signed a lucrative deal with TFB for 50 5 car sets, these trains are based on the Aventra designs, of which these are specifically based on the Class 345 and 701. These are ALSO equipped with both third rail and a Pantograph to run on TFB owned tracks and the Northeast corridor. The first set arrived in 2024, with the first revenue service being scheduled for late march of this year.
