Space or flag mode and click on a tile to flag the tile you're hovering over. Click or dig mode and tap to open. You can make 3 or more mistakes before losing unlike classic minesweeper. If you prefer to play classic: click middle face then adjust mode until set to 2 and last click reset game. when game starts you had one life, if you clear the game with master mode then you will gain 1 shield (and up to 3 shield) but only saves for 1 session.
