So, I'm canceling Return of the Shadow because the plot was basically terrible. I still use and love roleplaying with the dragons today; nothing has changed besides new dragons like Knight or Stella being created recently, but making a whole comic to explain some backstory was just stupid. If you have any questions about Lotus's backstory or Celestial's, I'll be happy to answer, but I am officially canceling. MoRe ExPlAnAtIon why I'm cancelling it-------------------- 1. The whole plot was just that the dragons were going on like, "a long journey" to go kill Shadow. Why? It would have been much faster if it were just the goddess's to go. The other dragons, such as Knight and Celestial, could be very minor to the needs of killing the shadow. What can Celestial do? haunt shadows, dreams, or something. She would honestly be too afraid to do that anyway. It wouldn't do anything to shadow. Same thing with Knight, he doesn't have the power to kill a god (shadow), and he would be too afraid anyway. He also wouldn't help with the journey; the only power he has is that he's stuck at his age, which he actually calls a curse from his own perspective. 2. Art was going to take too long. I like drawing the dragons, but I would have to make scenes that contain many dragons, and not all have finished references yet. 3. I focused too much on backstory. While I initially enjoyed the plot of the comic, my main emphasis was on detailing the background of the dragons. However, a comic isn't necessary for that, as the story was intended to be explained. Now that "Return of the Shadow" is canceled, I will likely answer questions about it and possibly post about some of the backstory So yeah! i have a lot more reasons but it takes a lot of writing so the whole thing is, i'm making a new cute comic. -Starry
