Hi! This is a story Collab between me and @Queertastic, aka Rowan. And I’m @FlaggleNerd, Aka Nic. \/Story\/ Maybe a TW, okay prolly a TW I remember my sister laying in the hospital bed, talking how she could see stars. How she was going to the stars. Talking about how 15 was too young. How she wished she had been a better person, a better friend, a better daughter, and a better sister. A better sister to me. I was young, much younger than her. I didn’t understand what she had meant, not really. I knew she was going. I knew I couldn’t stop it. A dragon had grabbed hold of her and drug her down. She died a week later. I never knew what she meant about being a better sister. She was the best person I ever knew. I wanted her back, what I wouldn’t give, who I wouldn’t k ll to have her back. But now, as I’m on the wrong side of the railing, overlooking the St. Peter river, I understand what she meant. I almost thought about writing a letter to my mom, or my little sisters Clara and Maylee. My dad didn’t deserve one. The water churned under me. I thought about how many kids had sat on this bridge like I had. I thought how it was too much of a perfect of a night to die. I thought about how my mom, or sisters, or my best friends would feel when they found my body on the river bank. I was ashamed. I climbed back over the railing and went home. The stars were shining, and I wondered if Zae was there, looking at me.
