[ Cosmo, 9:23 PM, ??? ] My whole body hurt, and the air was so cold I could hardly feel anything. All I knew was that my leg hurt. Really badly. Steadily, I opened my eyes and looked around. The room was dark besides the extremely bright light shining directly on me. I looked down at my legs, and the confusion as to why I was in pain was dissipated. Where did my leg go? A pool of black was dripping down from where my leg should be. And then I noticed I wasn't touching the ground either. My wrists and remaining ankle were being held against the wall by tight metal rings. I tried to release myself, but it was no use. "It seems you woke up, hm?" A voice called out, followed by damp footsteps. I couldn't see who it was clearly until she was practically in front of me. Bassie Bloomington. She was chuckling, with her hands neatly held behind her back. She looked at me, then at my leg, then at my left hand. I looked over at my hand too, and noticed I was clutching my friendship bracelet in it. Funny how I instinctively didn't let go. Bassie snatched it swiftly, a devious glint in her eyes. "Oh, Cosmo..." she pouted mockingly. "You just love Sprout so much, don't you? Your bestest friend ever..." "Give it back." I groaned, trying to reach out to it, but I could barely move. Bassie laughed at me more, as she threw it on the ground. "Goodness, I wonder how it'd make you feel if I just..." She lifted her leg up high, then brought it down on the bracelet with a loud bang. I screamed, horrified. "NO!" I thrashed around as I watched the beads scatter across the wooden floor. Tears dripped from my eyes, and I took a deep breath. This is just what she wanted, is it not? To toy with my emotions. But right now, I'm just confused. The Bassie I know is reserved, generous, and such. Is this really the same toon? I screamed, hoping I would be heard. "Don't even try, cake roll. Your cousins and Sprout won't hear you from down here." she said. Right. She would be smart enough to hide me somewhere.. distant. "So, Cosmo. I have a few questions to ask you today." Bassie said, stepping closer to me. "Did you really have to trap me here to do that?" I inquired. "Well, I just had to be sure you'd want to answer." Bassie responded. "And now that your life is on the line, I'm sure you do want to." "Wh-what are you gonna do, kill me with your bare hands?" I scoffed, trying to seem unafraid. "I'm sure you're wondering who did that to your leg." sighed Bassie. My eyes widened. "Of course, it wasn't me." "Then who?" "My little puppy friend, of course!" Bassie smiled, and I began to think that the air conditioning sound was a large creature's breathing. "Puppy? Like Coal?" I said. "A different one." Bassie muttered inconclusively. "Uhm.. just ask me the questions, please." I said. "Hmph. So be it." Bassie chuckled. "First question. What do you think about Sprout?" Sprout. My most favorite person in the whole wide world. Didn't she know already? Why was she asking me? Deep down, I knew why. Because there was something more than friendship that I felt. But for him? I was just a friend. "He's my best friend, that's it." I told her. "If you say so, Cosmo." she rolled her eyes playfully. Was she seriously trying to joke with me right now? "Anyways, next question. What do you know about... Dandy's World?" "D-Dandy's World?" I thought for a moment. "Never heard of it. Is it another version of Bassie's World or something? Seems interesting, but I don't know what it is." "Uh huh." Bassie looked around. "Well, my last question is..." I waited for her to finish. "Yeah?" "It's, uh..." She seemed to be waiting for someone to arrive. Was that creature supposed to kill me right now? Oh my gosh. "VEE!" she yelled instead. Vee appeared around the corner, not even asking what Bassie wanted her to do. I suppose she already knew. "Delete his memories of being here right now." Bassie commanded rudely. "Of course, Bassie." Vee replied. A green block appeared in front of her, and she kept swiping her finger all over it. Was this how they made people forget things? While in the middle of doing her peculiar hand motions, Vee looked up at me with a face filled with sorrow. "Vee." Bassie whispered. "Come on." Bassie led Vee out of the room. Wait, what? I thought she was- +
[ Cosmo, 9:45 AM, Toon Rooms Floor 3 ] I woke up in my bed, and pulled off my blanket. Underneath, my pants were ripped at where my leg stopped, for some reason. I really wish I wasn't made incorrectly, maybe I'd actually have 2 legs like planned. I hobbled over to where my artificial replacement lay. I popped it into place and then walked out of my room. I checked my hoodie's pocket for my bracelet, but it wasn't there. I checked again. Still not there. Maybe it was on my bed? I turned around and looked, and there was no sight of it. I felt like I knew where it was, but I couldn't place it. I don't think I was supposed to. ——————————————————————— Author's note: oo... spooky chapter 2... just so you know, the part in the toon rooms comes after the 1st part PREVIOUS: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1275315019/ NEXT: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1281053070/ SONG FROM: Flavor Foley THUMBNAIL BY: @OofishVariable Dandy's World and its characters belong to BrushCrunch Studios ^__^ https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51338397 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1285122865/ (Pings can be requested on any chapter, my chatroom, or in the Bassie's World Studio.)
