The only thing that would make this qualify as a Shockwave lobotomy dream is that there are still 2 dancing starscreams on both sides. So with the text in the beginning, we find out that someone has been haunting Shockwave since his lobotomy. This is actually the leftover curse of Primus. So, here’s some lore. Cybertron had been undergoing a civil war, with the rebellion led by Magnadeceptor. Shockwave, along with Soundwave and Starscream, were high ranking in the rebellion. They were in a squadron led by Megatron. Shockwave was making his way up the Iacon Central Tower when he was located by Sentinel Prime. Sentinel’s guards attacked and kicked Shockwave off the tower and into the Cybertronian pits. Shockwave was mortally broken and he would die if he wasn’t fixed. Primus saw Shockwave falling into the pits. He deemed Shockwave too unworthy and threw him back up. He was then fixed in a hospital and orders from the Cybertronian Senate were to lobotomize him. So they did. And the Primus’s soul put a curse on Shockwave that gave him distorted imagery of other bots and cons he had seen during the Cybertron war mixed with human trends yet to come from a planet far away. The curse has stayed with him until now, and even if the visions don’t appear with him in the modern day, they appear when he is asleep. He fears these dreams. He stays awake all day. His feelings are gone because of this. This is why he’s cold and emotionless. This is why he has one eye and one hand. This is why you need to pity him. By the way, some time after this Magnadeceptor died and something happened to all the squadrons except Megatron’s and Megatron renamed his squadron to the Decepticons.
