3/2397 The South Caribbean theatre was meant to be nothing else but a diversion to overstretch as many drones as possible, but recently Admiral Helli Khan of the Caribbean squadron presented a plan to the Prime Director and council to turn this neglected front into a decisive turning point..... The genius plan, of moving her entire squadron away from the "gulf of Panama" and towards the old west indies to cut off NASM forces in south America. Believing the Caribbean navy is too battered and poorly trained to move in, especially under the risk of overlapping bombardment from occupied islands and air+space defense installations. The navy begins one last supply run to Jamaica, and moves east to support an invasion of the islands north of Venezuela before moving to cut off NASM. While in the meantime, the relatively small Jamaican garrison begins preparing to wage a geurilla war on the Caribbean's own island. Rounding up the civilian population, and placing them within special camps right next to and under key positions, sometimes even keeping them in cages stored under the Tripods. Officially, this is to "protect them from our harmful radiation and Caribbean crossfire" and claiming "under our shields, they are safer then ever before" They are well fed, treated well, and even receive Medicare. But in truth this is an attempt to use them as shields themselves against the incoming hoards of drones. The garrison also digs a network of tunnels and trenches throughout the island, and positions artillery within range of Cuba and Haiti to begin indiscriminately bombarding industry, ports, possible drone storage facilities, and any ships they can spot.
(Out of RP: Unknown to the allies, something much more sinister is at play...... The fleet's movements make it appear as tho it's target is the west Indies, but it is something far greater.... The plan is kept so secret, that only the council, prime Director, and the admiral know of it. Which "includes secret orders 117" which states the Dominion is to conduct a fighting retreat from the Texas border and into the mountains once NASM begins its attack, while the forces in Adyntum also prepare a massive disciplined and organized retreat behind the great lakes and "Great Ohio Desert" I will not say why, but I'll tease it here so no one accuses me of changing things at the last second or somthin) The artwork is inspired by Kings and General's Pacific war series :> For a long while, I been trying to come up with a cool symbolic name for a whole new classification of military unit. And I think I came up with it: Collective. Consisting in theory*, of at least 100 million troops, with its own mobile industry, navy, artillery, armed forces, and supply equipment. Effectively a mini economy and military all in one. Instead of states or provinces, the Military Collective is organized into hundreds of these "collectives"
