The Aegis Corporation, a former Bio-Engineering company with goals to master genetic modification, went bankrupt in 2018 due to an overwhelming number lawsuits. Aegis Facilities where abandoned, left to rot, often turning into top Urbex sites. THIS Facility however was sealed off, behind a wall in the basement of what used to be the headquarters of Aegis, located in Akzova. Its current state was untouched, with ALL specimens that Aegis was studying still in there areas, that was until the bombing of Akzova cracked open the false wall. A investigation led by a PMC group, funded by a former Aegis official, recovered pietri dishes covered in living cells. Also, many stimulant injectors labeled M.U.L.E. were found in rooms next to surgical tables that were fitted with restraints. Multiple rooms with large glass windows for viewing still had living things inside them. The PMCs described them to be subhuman, and barely alive. They also noted that all rooms were marked with a color coded key card. PMCs spent very little time there due to incredibly high levels of radiation.
