It was a cold day at the Vocaloid Mansion, and Miku was sitting at the window, watching snowflakes fall to the ground. She was wearing her favorite glittery school uniform although it was Saturday, but she wanted to look Kawaii. "Miku-chan!" a voice yelled. Miku turned around and saw Kaito striding, filled with confidence yet timid apprehension, toward her. He was wearing his blue scarf even though they were inside, and he was holding a giant tub of Häagen-Dazs, which anyone would assume had melted by now. His blue eyes sparkled like a thousand diamonds in a blender. "Oh, konnichiwa Kaito-kun," Miku said, blushing a bright red shade. "What are you doing here? I thought you were with Meiko?" Kaito’s face darkened like a thunderstorm. "Meiko is a baka! She drank a load of sake and then she tried to sing 'World is Mine' and it sounded like a dying cat. Only you can sing like an angel, Miku." Miku gasped. Her heart did a backflip. "But Kaito... what about the Kagamine twins? They say we can't be together because our voice banks might glitch if we hug too hard!" "I don't care about the glitches!" Kaito shouted, dropping his ice cream on the floor. It made a loud splat but he didn't care. He grabbed Miku's hands. "I love you more than ice cream! I love you more than Len loves bananas!" Suddenly, the door burst open. It was Len Kagamine. He was crying and his blonde hair was messy. "Kaito! How could you! We were supposed to go to the park together!" Miku's heart ached with apprehension. Was Kaito going to cancel his and Len's plans or was their eternal love going to be betrayed? Finally, Kaito spoke, as Miku waited with baited breath. "I'm sorry Len-kun, but my heart belongs to THIS ✨diva✨ now" as he gestured with a flourish towards Miku, who, in that moment, was overwhelmed with joy, her vibrant blue eyes starting to tear up with happiness. "Oh Kaito-kun!" she cried "You are ever so kind!" Len, soul twisted with betrayal, stomped up to his room, a dark, ugly knot in his stomach. He could no longer feel happiness. He could no longer feel anything. He was dead inside. As he approached his room, he saw something on the stairs. A banana. In that moment, he realised he was a fool, for trusting his love to Kaito, and approached the banana with trembling hands. This was his true love. Len unpeeled the banana, joy flooding through every part of his body. "Banana-chan!!! I love you!!" he yelled, hoping that somehow, it would hear him, before taking a large bite. Potassium. This was what he needed. Kaito didn't deserve his everlasting love. It was just him and the banana. Meanwhile, downstairs, Miku and Kaito were making plans to go out for ice cream (You would never guess whose idea that was). It all felt so romantic, so perfect... but what about Len? He seemed so upset when he left the room! "Kaito-senpai" Miku murmured, twirling her long teal locks like the world truly was hers. But what was hers was Kaito. "I think we should check on Len." Kaito nodded his head. "Quite right, Miku-chan." The blue-haired pair walked up the stairs with grace, only to find Len sitting there, eating a banana, seeming perfectly fine. That is, until he began to levitate. "Kaito-senpai, I think he's ascending" Miku whispered to her blue-haired prince. "Quite right, Miku-chan." Len cried "For I have made a deal with the God of Banana!" before he crashed through the roof. 'So that was that' Miku thought. 'And now we have a hole in the roof'. "Nevermind that." Kaito said while gently stroking Miku's face, as if reading her thoughts (He probably was). "It's just you and me now." Miku paused for a moment, tension hanging in the air. It was not Kaito that her heart truly fluttered for...
