Chapter 2. - Astro It was still morning when Astro was washing some dishes. Astro was humming to himself when Cosmo walked in.”oh, hi Astro..” Cosmo said awkwardly.” “oh,hey. Looking for anything.?” Astro responded. Cosmo hesitated “yeah, actually.. do you know where sprout is..?”. “He’s moving some crates around with the others,if I recall correctly.anything else?” Astro enquired.”nope! Nothing else! Nothing at,all..?” Cosmo said with a fake smile. “Uhm..I have to go so uh..-“ “cosmo..” Astro started,”if you don’t feel safe here, Delilah will let you go back to Arthur’s house.” “I have to stay with sprout.” Cosmo said immediately with a serious expression. Taken aback, Astro replied “I understand..” he thought for a moment then added “if something were to happen to anyone..” they both looked away in anguish.Astro thought back to something he had incountered. There was dream Cosmo had a while back. A dream where everything broken glass and ichor everywhere.That ‘dream’ where Astro was powerless of fixing it. Astro shuttered. This wasn’t the first time that had happened. Deep down he knew Cosmo’s dreams could predict events. It happened with Arthur and Gardenview, so what was stopping it from happening this time? ‘It was just coincidence..’ Astro tried to tell himself. “You.. you don’t think that dream meant anything, r-right?” Cosmo said abruptly as if he read his mind “o-oh! Uhm..well.. probably.. not??” Astro stumbled.Unsatisfied, Cosmo started walking toward the elevator “well,I’m going to go now..” Cosmo mumbled. Before he left the room Astro whispered “well…I think it was a warning..” cosmo turned around and stared at Astro. “Than we have to stop it. We can’t let it ruin gardenview again.”. ———— Astro and Cosmo arrived at the lobby to find it was crowded with some maintenance workers but mostly toons. “What’s happening?”Cosmo exclaimed. “The 3rd elevator broke this morning. The maintenance crew says the controls were jammed by something.” Brightney warned as she walked up to them. “Is dandy here? I think he traveled to some task with that elevator.” Astro cried. Brightney shifted uncomfortably and whispered “we think he was in there when it broke down, I’m afraid..”. Astro gasped “but dandy can’t handle Elevators after the last incident..!”. Astro dashed towards the supposing elevator. As he nudged his way through the crowd he learned after forty five minutes of attempting to fix the elevator they still couldn’t retrieve it. “They said it wasn’t on any of its shared floor! It’s like it’s on a whole other floor..” Astro heard someone say from behind him.’what happened to dandy?’ Astro wondered to himself. In front of the elevator was a human Astro didn’t recognize, presumably a helper for gardenview.He had a walkie talkie in his hand and was obviously arguing with somebody on the walki talkie. “What do you MEAN it wasn’t there?.” !!!… “Well now what??” …? “Fine. But if I get in trouble for this everyone else is.” The man stormed off startling some of the toons as he went into another elevator. A few minutes went by and toons started to walk to there next task when a *ding!* was heard from the broken elevator. Immediately toons turn around to see who had fixed it but we’re all surprised to see two toons in the elevator; Dandy and Astro.
