Chapter one! Finally! Baykit is being rewritten to being less of an intelligent pessimist as a kit to just a bratty kid who won't stop whining, since it balances out his future personality better. [Lore] [Warning for: slight ableism]: Baykit was born alongside his siblings Fangkit and Branchkit to Laurel-leaf and Leafmold. Since day one, Baykit was a bit of a runt. He was smaller and more fragile than his siblings, plus him being blind in his right eye. Because of this, he's very spiteful and hot-headed. His life is *so* hard right now - he keeps on forgetting who's from VeilClan, and who's from TrebleClan, plus his sleep being ruined by his denmates, Koikit and Frostkit! The only one that the adults take seriously is his siblings using his blind eye to their advantage, ambushing him during play, which creates an unfair advantage, and makes him insecure. Laurel-leaf and Leafmold do their best to soothe their son, but ultimately, Baykit is destined to find trouble in something or other to complain about.
