I am cicada, a wcrper who just so happens to really like will wood. so I had a wonderful idea; what if i design kits based on songs/albums of his. so that's what this is. probably gonna use these guys on future litters of my darling mothy but for now they're just. chilling here. ➳ note - quality. destroyed... all my hard work drawing all of those crazy symbols... pretty please look inside the project for a significantly better quality look at them. ➳ click the different little images ➳ tss cavern kitties [tss by @tss-roleplay] ➳ I will do designs for others upon request! (If I have time) ➳ tn is the lovely vanitykit, inspired by the one still of ww from the mr capgras mv ( I don't know how to explain it better. iykyk ) ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ii. vanitykit ╰┈➤ ❝ vanity, van, val ❞ ➳ ❝ you're trying to replace yourself ? ❞ ╰┈➤ mr. capgras encounters a secondhand vanity / wwatt ➳ agab - amab ➳ height full-grown - ~19 in ➳ species - caverncat ➳ research - prosopagnosia / face blindness ➳ description - leading the group is vanitykit, the eldest of the siblings. don't look too closely at his beautiful pelt, or you may be mesmerized by the complexity of the many patterns lacing his fur. this kit is entirely a monochromatic masterpiece, with black-and-white patches adorned with gray fades on his back, legs, and chest. His paws and tail are striped in black and white stripes, like a monochromatic barbershop pole. 8 glittering brown eyes shine out from a face decorated with a constellation of freckling, with a peculiar marking between his eyes forming the shape of a false 9th eye, appearing to glare at you. the more you look through his fur, the more uncomfortable you get as more eye-like markings hide between the triangles, dots, and lines that decorate his upper legs, ears, and back. such a cutie, isn't he? ➳ designer's notes - this darling is my favorite, as you can probably tell from him being on the cover art. however, he's so complicated i'm never gonna draw him again! whoo! anyway the baby vanitykit is a reference to self-ish, but specifically mr capgras encounters a secondhand /vanity/, as you can see by his name. he is black and white as a reference to the (privated) mv for the song, but it also kinda looks like everything is a lot's cover tbh, which i'm not mad about. all of val's crazy patterns, including the forehead eye, are resemblant of those on the front cover of self-ish. also some of the points kind of look like a mandala of a sun so yay unintentional dr. sunshine ref. uhm yeah fun times all around. [that was fun, goodbye] / will wood ➳ agab - amab ➳ height full-grown - 20 in ➳ species - caverncat ➳ research - n/a ➳ description - bursting with energy, the lanky Sightseerkit bounds in! This kit primarily boasts a pelt of chestnut, adorned with cream patches and pecan brown stripes. Parts of his body fade from a deeper brown to the same shade as the rest of his pelt. His tail fades from the same cream as his chest and paws to the dark pecan brown that dances across his ears and back. A interesting marking on his chest mixes together different hues of his pelt (it looks like a tie). Perhaps the most interesting part of the darling Sightseer is his bright red-and-blue eyes, which come as a result of sectoral heterochromia and form a half-and-half pattern, like looking through a pair of 3D glasses. ➳ designer's notes - oh hello my darling normal album-inspired son. Sighty here is the only one of his siblings that is brown (that is, unless cicadakit ends up having to be a last-minute substitute for white-noisekit). He's got average fur length with some pretty basic patterns-- patches of white and stripes (but I still arranged them in an interesting, pleasing way. He's just a normal fella. Or is he? You may notice slight odd inconsistencies-- the fades on his legs being different colors, or his ears being a tad bit longer than average... normal, right? ╰┈➤ cont. in n+c

Oh, wait, it's just Skeletonkit! They bear the same patterning of their namesake, with patterns of white forming the patterning of a cat's skeletal structure. Their body is primarily a black base, but adorned with some slight fadings of dark gray that blend into their primary pelt, with the only prominent non-skeletal grey marking being the lines on their tail. A purple, heart-like blob hides beneath their rib markings, right above where the real thing beats steadily. ➳ designer's notes - [ caps warning] I feel it necessary to note that the lines on their chest are not accurate skeletal marks (in the side angle). Those lines exist so that the ribs look correct when viewed from the front. anyway back to inspirations this critter is inspired by the funny bone song, skeleton appreciation day. obviously. I don't really have any other way to explain how the design is inspired by it besides YOU CAN SEE THEIR BONES (BONES) ((BONES)). fun fact skel was designed on skeleton appreciation day (feb. 6th). ╰┈➤ tldr - funny bone song (skeleton appreciation day) ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ˋ°•*⁀➷ claiming details ➳ (tw - caps) wow! you actually want one of these guys? FOR REAL? no way! anyway, like I mentioned above, these will likely be used in a future litter. however... I can offer you 1 of 2 options. [ 1 ] you preclaim the kit and you get it once the litter actually gets made. you will have to prove you're a good fit for the goober first, but otherwise i'll let you have em.
