Chapter 1 (broken Gardenview dandy) Dandy stared at the cracked wall across his room. ‘When was the last time everything was perfect?’ He wondered. Seven months ago an earthquake hit Gardenview, destroying almost everything. after the incident the toons were moved to Arthur’s house due to safety hazards. 'poor Arthur...' dandy thought, as he remembered what Arthur succumbed to.it was only a few months ago when Arthur was hit by a falling ceiling tile, putting him in the hospital. Some of the toons whose rooms were safe volunteered to come back to help repair Gardenview (the humans(including Arthur’s family) only agreed to let them go because space was running out.Dandy then remembered how upset, angry even, Delilah was after Arthur’s temporary removal. Delilah was doing her best to fix Gardenview so she could return to working but progress had been slow. this reminder urged Dandy to go to the lobby to be given his daily tasks. As he walk down the hall he spotted Tisha,one of the toons who volunteered, collecting debris. “Good morning,Tisha” Dandy said sluggishly“oh,good morning Dandy. Do you mind telling Brightney that we need more trash bags?” “Sure thing..!”. Dandy approached the elevator with unease. The first thing Delilah had fixed was the elevator. Despite that, dandy had lost trust for elevators after getting stuck in that one during the earthquake.’it works perfectly fine dandy. Just use it..!’ The elevator door opened and a handyman walked out with a cart of supplies. The ride was only a minute or so but it felt like an eternity to Dandy. When the elevator door open Dandy practically flew out. The lobby was filled with toons and a few humans dashing to places they needed to be. Dandy walked towards the line the toons went to receive there jobs for the day. Brightney, the one handing out slips, was the one organizing toons because of her good organization and direction. “Tisha says we need more trash bags” dandy told brightney as he collected his slip. “If you see her again tell her it’s on the list.” Brightney said while instinctively wrote it down on her small notepad. Dandy glanced at his slip and made his way back towards the same elevator he entered. This time some other toons were with him being: Rodger ,Glisten, and flutter. By the time it was his floor though, the others had all reached their destination. The elevator stopped, but it didn’t open. ‘Huh?’ The buttons didn’t work. ‘Oh no..’ “no!” Dandy shouted desperately as he pressed the help button.but it didn’t work. Dandy was getting claustrophobic. The elevator made a weird clicking sound ‘please!’ He thought,Dandy knew what was about to happen but before he could do anything the elevator dropped sending dandy flying in the air. Dandy tried reaching for a rail but the elevator stopped and he crashed into the floor. As he tried to recover from the impact,the elevator made a faint ding sound and the door slowly opened. Outside was a completely distinct room covered in flowers of all kinds with benches besides them. The ceiling was filled with hanging plants and moody lights. Across the seemingly oasis was a golden elevator covered in golden flowers. Dandy was dumbstruck.how had he not known about this floor sooner? Why and how is there another elevator? Where does it go? Overflowing with questions Dandy tiptoed to the elevator as if everything could shatter with one wrong step. ‘This must be a dream,right?’ He turned around expecting to see Astro there,like he normally was when he dreamt. But no one was there, so he touched the gold elevator. It was cold,which suprised Dandy. While he processed what was happening he noticed a button beside the gold elevator. Dandy stared at it for a few moments before pressing it and backing up.’why did I just-‘ *ding!* the golden elevator’s door opened revealing a much bigger inside than previous elevators. Dandy stood in place,frozen by his thoughts ‘where does this go?? Who made this? I shouldn’t leave the others but.. what if.. what if this could fix everything?’ Hope filled in his head as he sprung into the elevator. As the door closed he thought he saw someone staring at him.
