Basically we got to make political cartoons (mine isn’t very political) But there were example topics… And one of them was ai… So I made a comic about how generative ai affects artists!!! I spent a year thinking about character design and failing to execute my vision (ignore that the actual text is different I forgot what i was going to write). I finally drew it today, just to get it stolen by ai. Left poster: support real artists, not ai Left sticker: art club Left shirt: ai (crossed out) Right word balloon: pick me! I spent five minutes making an ai generate the exact image I wanted. It kept looking weird so I kept trying again. I use ai “art” because I “can’t draw” Right poster: ai art is real art! (I do not agree with this statement) Right shirt: I’m a real artist Right computer: I’m an ai!
