WELCOME TO SCRATCH!!! I am so excited you chose to join me at this learn-to-code animation project! In this animation, Scratch Cat and Dinosaur teach you how to use some basic blocks by replacing the pink "Replace with your code!!!" blocks. They will guide you through the process and at the end you will have a chance to show what you learned by animating your own character! If you have trouble, you can leave a comment and I or another community member will respond with a solution. KEEP IN MIND: This project is not just for new members of Scratch. Anyone can and is encouraged to remix and change the code however you like!!!
I want to thank my amazing 2nd-grade coding teacher, Mr. Wolf, for supporting me when I was new to Scratch. Thank you to my friends who have been very supportive, if not TOO supportive of my coding journey. Even if my friends are the only ones who ever see this, I had fun making it and that's what matters in the end.
