Note: I heavily recommend reading Daisydarling's SRP: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1247284402 before reading this one. Additionally, a TW for grief and experiences with a loved one in a coma. [...] ´´...she didn't wake up...`` Those were the words they had said to her, Shooting-star, as she had returned to camp. Faer heart sank. Their paws trembled. Its eyes blurred with steamy tears. The hybrid didn't even hesitate; She simply dropped everything and rushed to the nursery without a word. ´´D-daisy! Daisy!!`` She called as she barged into the den, full of kits. She didn't care that the kits were probably sleeping or that Daisy probably needed quiet and rest. She didn't care. Ro needed to find her. Flor needed to be there. Bloom just... did. Her eyes clouded at the sight of the motionless body. Daisy... No... Was she..? The hybrid collapsed at the she-cat's side, curling faer tail around faer friend's unmoving state. It nuzzled Daisy's pelt, pawing at her over and over. ´´D-daisy... D-d-daisy... P-p-please... Please, answer m-me...`` Sho whined between sobs. Bud couldn't lose her. Not her. She couldn't leave bud too. She... couldn't. ´´Day... D-daisy... P-please just w-wake up... F-for me...`` Shooting-star slowly curled around the warrior, gently licking at Daisy's pelt. ´´P-please... D-daisy you- you c-can't leave m-me... I-I... I n-need you... A-and... And you- your k-kits need... N-need you... And- and m-m-my kits n-n-need you... /Our/ k-kits /n-need/ you, Day-Daisy... P-please...`` The younger warrior's ears were ringing now. Its heart was throbbing, and it was impossible to keep its paws steady. Yet they wouldn't leave. They wouldn't leave Daisy's side. They would never /ever/ leave her side, not until she woke from this state. Not if it was a day or an entire moon! And that was a promise she was going to keep. ´´P-please... I-I-I... I-I... l-l-love you... I l-love you, D-d-daisy. S-so... So p-please...`` Sho paused. Her words choked through her tears. But after a moment, she finished. ´´P-please d-don't leave m-me... Please...`` And with her words finished, she closed her eyes, and she prayed. She prayed to the Great Flame to save her Daisydarling. She prayed that Daisy would wake up soon. But until then, she would wait. And wait. And... wait... [End of roleplay...]
Okay. Time for my yapping. So, Daisydarling is, well, not dead, but Sho doesn't know that. This entire SRP is basically just Sho grieving for Daisydarling because, well, she cares deeply for her. She cares so much and doesn't want to handle losing another loved one. Also, it is supposed to be a nice, sentimental moment of Sho caring about Daisy, so please, don't be weird about Sho snuggling with Daisy. She was upset and just wanted to comfort and care for Daisy, not anything else. Will the two eventually become mates one day? Yes, Daisydragon, we all cheer! But, this is not that day. Now, will Sho learn from this moment about how much she actually cares about Daisy? Well, yes. But that said, there is /nothing/ romantic in this SRP! Sho is being cute and cuddly in a /platonic/ way. I'm not sure how this may come across with the "I love you" bit, but please, do not take this romantically. There is just something so unsettling to me (that I will not elaborate on!) about what Sho is doing being seen as romantic, so I want to make it perfectly clear that it is not. Thank you. Okay, yap over. I wrote this in like an hour, so no judgment. All writing by me () Daisydarling owned by The TN is a gif from a scene in Stranger Things Season 4 And the song is Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)" by Harry Dacre Also, special thanks to + + + for the creation of TSSRP!! Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do! I'm half crazy, all for the love of you! It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage, But you'll look sweet upon the seat Of a bicycle built for two!
