Doctor (Prime) As of the current point in the RP, Doctor Prime is the original incarnation of the Doctor. During his early research into superhuman abilities and so-called “godly energies,” he suffered catastrophic overexposure, resulting in severe and permanent physiological damage that forced him onto continuous life support. Using his exceptional intellect, Doctor Prime created the Segments, non-aging clones of himself in his pre-injury state, capable of operating independently in the world. These Segments, also referred to publicly as the Doctor, conduct research, acquire resources, and perform experiments, with all data and knowledge continuously siphoned back into Doctor Prime while he remains within his life-support tank. The exact method by which the Segments were created remains unknown; prevailing theories suggest a combination of advanced cloning techniques and biomechanical engineering. Doctor Prime’s overarching objective is to complete his research into godly energies and ultimately reconstruct his damaged body into a stable, artificial god-like form. The Segments function as extensions of his will, ensuring the continuation and protection of this work. Following his seizure of Iceland, Doctor Prime transformed the nation into an optimized research environment suited to his needs. He is entombed deep beneath Iceland within his life-support system, from where he exerts indirect control over the island through surveillance networks, automated systems, and machine infrastructure, functionally similar to a centralized intelligence rather than a visible ruler. To the outside world, the Doctor is believed to be a single, mobile individual; the true condition and location of Doctor Prime are known only to the Segments. The Doctor(s): The Segments are autonomous clones of Doctor Prime, identical to him prior to his injury. The total number of Segments is unknown, as is the full process by which they were created. Each Segment operates independently, either within Iceland or abroad, carrying out research, experimentation, maintenance of the Prime’s systems, and acquisition of materials necessary for the advancement of godhood research. All Segments possess the same abilities and capabilities as Doctor Prime (as detailed in the application form) and continuously relay their accumulated knowledge back to him.
