so its gonna be called smth like "I-CON" which is like good bc it can be "I con" or "Icon" and its gonna be abt a famous idol from jp living in kr and she's like- pretty, talented, has a buncha fans- like about karina or wony's popularity level??? so she's gonna be 17 when she first auditions (scouted when she came to kr for studies or smth) and 19 by the time she debuts, except her company is a total HYBE (BOOOOOOO) so all her group members are mistreated and stuff- poor living conditions, strict diets, not allowed to go out in public unless its approved by the company, low pay (money split would be 75-25 company?), and even their socials are managed- they gotta do everything their company tells them to perfectly otherwise they get punished idfk how yet use ur imagination so this girlie- while she's pretty and talented she wasn't always like that. she had originally been js a pretty face until (ALLEGEDLY) the group's manager took a liking to her and added her to the group as long as she would do special favors for him iykwim. but ofc, like every good heroine, she didn't actually do this. one of the group members didnt like that the mc could js walk in like that and get a spot in the group she worked so hard for so she made it all up grrr this basically starts to ruin girlie's public image bc that uh other group member (im thinking 5 in the group?) would keep yapping abt it every chance she got so ppl start shaming the mc and call her stuff that i cant say here (</3) so she gets like rlly depressed and starts dabbling in fun powder, fun juice, fun clubs, fun partners, and fun groups (also things i cant say here) and like she does this all with ppl who don't rlly know her- as far as they know she only looks a lot like this super famous singer but acts completely different except one guy knows what she's doing and then he's gonna start doing an illegal form of persuasion to her to get her to do things she prob shouldnt (like purposefully sabotaging herself, her company, and her group) its basically gonna be about how the mc has to put on the appearance of an amazing, beautiful, it girl while on the inside she has a rlly dark life for the back story i might make it that she had a rough childehood and stuff (mom left, father was addicted to fun juice, sister hated her guts and blamed her for their mom leaving- btw this is not at all inspired by a certain blond german character from a certain sports manga) and that music was her one escape except she knew she couldn't make a career off of it in jp so she decided to major in it instead in kr and hope to work with a group or smth (and this is not based off of a certain blond japanese character from a certain shojo manga) aight so anygays she's gonna get asked to be in a drama as the fl except OMG OMG OMG one of the other group member's secret bfs is the ml!!! this other group member isnt gonna like that they're the fl and ml in a romance drama together so she's also gonna start hating on the girlie at this point the mc will have started to distance herself from the group, as two of the members are being horrible to her and the other two are either too sick or too young to intervene (btw the mc will be the middle, while the oldest member and second youngest member hate her. maknae will be too young to stop the whole beef- maybe she'll be like 15?) and ofc since the company doesn't care abt the girls, they won't do anything to stop the two girls like changing dorm arrangements, removing them from the group, or making a public statement at this point the mc's depression will get RLLY bad and ppl are starting to notice she's putting less effort into posts, dances, songs, and visuals the guy thats illegally persuading her to do stuff will start getting mad at her for being lazy and he threatens to leak everything she's been doing and get her kicked out of the group the mc goes "screw it, we ball" and she decides to leak everything herself as the media goes wild (OMG OMG INSERT NAME BELOW FROM INSERT NAME BELOW IS A TOTAL- *insert word i cant say here*!) then the girl tries to make a life changing desicion involving a chair and rope (iykwim) and then uh idk what'll happen i havent gotten that far yet </3 for the girl's name i'm thinking smth like harumi for last name idk i'll do smth basic and stage name will depend on her name- like it'll prob be haru i also don't want it to have any relation to any real life idols even though some of the other groups might be based off of them (we got oldkhakis and foundadults) and for the group name... i also want it to be symbolic lena suggests "Spotlight" debut song could be "secret" or smth idk its js an idea
ehe~ i also want there to be a senior idol under the same company as harumi! prob gonna name her "Angel" and have her be harumis like big inspo yk (like leeseo and wonyoung, or karina and tayeon) except they won't debut together since Angel's gonna be a soloist i also want there to be a brother group purely for the purpose of them competing for promotions and stuff. like harumis gonna be the it GIRL but i want one of the boys from that group to be the it BOY (beebeenose ref?) and they have like a buncha beef and the boys get treated better than the girls and have higher pays and even when the girls have tried protesting the company always shuts them down like "oh go do your job you signed up for it didn't you?" and then at the end, obvi harumi will fail at her attempt (iykwim) and publicly expose the company for mistreatment and stuff also the ceo of the company will be a super big mystery and no one will have actually seen his face in over a decade (debbie stovelman is happy healthy and alive /ref) i also wanna add in yuri and bl but that might js be me </3 but yeah tell me if its eating or nah gonna try and release character concepts soon too AND ALSO JENNIE BNR OMG OMG HAVE YOU EVER MET JENNIE? /ref
