Its fields and meadows wear bright green and fresh. Its mountains towering above all, its peaks distantly snowy as crystals glow along their edges. the clouds were fluffy and white; its sky a vibrant blue and, when night approached, was flecked in brilliant stars. the forests were large and wild, animals roaming and growing off the nutrients offered by the plants. over time, a special species emerged from those of the old ages; the Archenines. a mixture of canine and feline, these creatures are supposedly evolved from pure light. They established a glittering kingdom ruled by the wisest, oldest, most experienced Archenine. From this species came the Talmuds, similar to the Archenines but considered themselves as ‘common folk’. Hundreds of years after the establishment of the Kingdom of Light, a new group emerged from the depths of the earth; the Slysers. angry, restless, cruel; these snake-like creatures were everything the Archenines weren’t. for fear of the Slysers wreaking havoc, the ruler and his council decreed that the Slysers would become slaves for the Kingdom. they were forced to work; being kept so busy that, hopefully, all ideas of evil evaporated. Despite the Archenine’s lengths at keeping the Slysers at bay, they grew angry. hate festered as they were kept as slaves; workers for ones they believed as below them. They grouped together, led by their general, Shike, and rebelled against the ruler. King Tathera, the king at the time, refused to engage in battle, preferring peace. When he and Shike met for a supposedly peaceful arrangement, Shike stabbed King Tathera in the heart. after this, the Slysers took over the Kingdom and renamed it Slatrea with Shike as their king. the Archenines were forced into hiding and persecuted cruelly by Shike, and the Talmuds were made into the Slyser’s slaves. some believe that the Archenines still exist, hiding and plotting for their own victory; some view this hope as delusion. Whichever you choose to believe, know that our story takes place in what was once a dream land, but is now the place of nightmares ..
okay hi so uhmm I kinda threw this together because I needed ideas and basically made things up as I go shh .. pronunciation guide : Arch-en-nines Sly-ser-s Al-a-sia Ta-th-era Tal-muds Sla-tre-a species description : Archenines: graceful, elegant creatures. their colors are mostly gold, silver, or really any other gem or riches color. their snout is canine-esq, long with a dark nose and tall, jackal-like ears. Their eyes are known to be a wide range of colors. they have minimal fluff other than chest fur, face fur, ear tip fur, and a hyena-like mane running from the tips of their head to their mid-tail. most Archenines are male, and few are female, which is why female rulers were rare in the past and why the Archenines eventually died out. Once full grown, they develop large, feathered, elegant wings that are normally tipped in golden stars, or any color similar to their own pelt. their tail is tipped in a feathery fur, and a small star of light hovering above. known to be very tall and much stronger/larger than the Talmuds. they’re built for speed and strength at the same time, probably the most deadly in a battle if it ever happened. more dragon-like when it comes to feet. Slysers: more serpentine than the Archenines. their bodies are long and their tongues forked. their coat color consists mostly of greens and blacks, and are known to normally have scales instead of fur. graceful in a deadly way, with a cobra’s sail around their necks. their snout isn’t as long and more feline than dog. they have short legs and webbed feet, and their eyes are normally green or yellow. good swimmers, with a long, whip-like tail. they’re known to be sly and cruel, and host long, poisonous fangs. Talmuds: these are similar to the Archenines, which evolved from the Talmuds. their body is feline and snout canine, but their ears are small and they are usually much more furry than the Archenine species. their tails are also shorter and more feline than anything. fangs dip from their mouths but are not like the Slysers’ own. they have large paws, built for working in the fields of Alasia to grow and hunt food. slender body for speed and easy movement. Their fur is mostly browns, greys, and really any dark or mundane color. Wingless and lacks the stars Archenines have. more dragon-like. Characters featured : King Tathera: final king of Alasia. Killed by the former Slysers general, Shike. Large, gold and white fur and blue eyes. he/him Shike: first ruler of the kingdom of Slatrea. killed King Tathera in what was known as the ‘slaying’. Known for his cruel ideas and belief that brutality and discipline is what made a good kingdom. he/him.
