---------------------------------------------------------------------------- chapter 8 - bobbette - part one ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- When we were let out of the basement it was amazing, yet it was less fun since I'm not new anymore I guess. Vee and Astro have been weird- Busy, its just a bit strange. I even heard them talking, it went something like this: "Well, what's your idea? To leave them suffering for another year?" Vee said, Astro winced. "No....I don't know, but its kind of you to want them in so early." Astro replied. "I'm no fan of empathy right now, Astro. No Toon should be locked up down there. They'll like the system....Right?" Astro smiled. "Everyone will love it." They both looked at each other and carried on with the day. Tisha has been saying all kinds of...things about Vee and Astro. She has a jolly-good point though. They're so close. I wish I had someone like that... ~meanwhile Vee~ "Hey, Delilah told me to drop this note off." I said, handing a small piece of paper (in my best fake Delilah handwriting, of course) to Sam. "You're testing the holiday Toons today, right?" I said, a look of innocence on my face. "Yeah, Thanks. Anyway, what are you doing in the office, no Toons allowed during buisness hours unless its an emergency. I'll let it go this one time since it was an order. This time only." I took that as my chance to leave, my work here was done. (For now.) ~back to Bobette~ Since I got tested, I've felt strange all day. I figured all the Toon handlers were busy, so I drank some hot chocolate and took a nap. Yet it became unbearable. My throat felt as if it might close. I was trying my best to limp around for help before I.....met the dirt. But then everything slipped away. I closed my eyes for a moment and opened them to see a half furnished room with a couch Sprout was sitting on, the other half completely blank and white.
