First of all I definitely dont support AI “art” I think posting it and claiming as your own is wrong and from what I hear it negatively affects the environment. I do however think that AI can be used in a good way like to get information, summarize a book to see if you would be interested in reading it, and other things. I dont think it should be used to replace human jobs or creativity. Although I dont plan on going into an art career (I wanna be a nurse) I cant stand that AI is ruining chances for people to get art related careers. With all that being said I think if this AI is gonna be used to create images and use other people’s art to train its horrible. If its gonna be used simply for learning though I think it could be ok, but I still dont like it. I have some experience with AI chat and it could definitely be bad for young kids to be introduced to at a young age. Its bad for a kid to think AI is there “friend” and can replace human interaction. I also think the original panic was a little dramatic although I do understand why, AI on scratch is definitely scary. Overall since Im tired and running all over the place lol I dont like the AI thing but I do think it probably not as bad as we thought. Im also not worried about personal art since I doubt even AI would want to train off of it XDD but I do worry about other peoples art, as long as AI doesn’t start training off peoples art to create things I think it would be ok overall. ok well Im tired and out of stuff lol sorry this was short.
