AI. I know. There’s so many projects that have anti-AI in them. I know my heart. God Himself is telling me this. AI should not be on Scratch. ST, if you see this, then PLEASE. I know you probably hear so many protests. Please read the whole thing. Scratch used to be my whole world. It used to be what I revolved around. I was so excited and inspired! I want that to be the same for other little kids who join Scratch. Because Scratch changed my life. Forever. I see so many amazing people that I would never talk to if Scratch wasn’t here, so many great artists who inspired me, so many great coders who shaped my imagination. These are creations that are only true when heartfelt and thought about. AI creates some sort of copy of a human being with a heart and soul’s hard work. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” -Martin Luther King JR. What if silence is the loudest we can get? What if we are silent FOR the things that matter? What if we boycott AI? TO SCRATCHERS ALL OVER: please.
