Arrow keys or mouse/space to advance and or go back Kinetic Lancing Armageddon Weapons System - The barrel will be 40 meters long - The slug will travel at mach 25 - The slug will accelerate at 100 000 gs within the barrel - There will be a coating that ionizes around the slug to creat a supercavitation using low density plasma to reduce skin drag and insulating the shell so it heats up slower - ~2 gigajoules of energy/electricity, 408 gigawatts - If not constantly cooled, the magnets will reach ~5 000 Celsius - The Ammo: A 50kg, dictionary-sized solid elongated cone of enchanted "supermetal" The below is a summary by Gemini of the firing process and destructive power and other stuff edited by me: Phase 1: The Launch Firing a heavy block/elongated cone of metal this fast would normally melt a cannon instantly. The campm gets around this using magic. The Power Dump: The cannon dumps a massive 400-Gigawatt electrical surge into its magnetic rails (the "Slivers") in just 0.009 seconds. The Mana-cooling: To prevent the 40-meter barrel from vaporizing from the electrical friction, magic freezes the magnets to near absolute zero while they fire. The Speed: The dictionary-sized shell accelerates at 100,000 Gs. It goes from 0 to Mach 25 (8,575 m/s) before it even leaves the 40-meter barrel. Phase 2: The Flight The shell is fired diagonally downwards from the Ivory Tower Spire toward a military encampment a few kilometers away. The Plasma Bubble: The friction of hitting the air at Mach 25 instantly vaporizes the shell's Ion-Gel coating. This creates a "Supercavitation Bubble"—a pocket of 15,000°C plasma that completely encases the metal shell, protecting it from burning up in the atmosphere. The Visual: To anyone watching from afar, the shell looks like a screaming, blue-white teardrop of fire streaking out of the sky. The Silence: Because the shell is moving at 25 times the speed of sound, the enemy army hears absolutely nothing. The shell outruns its own noise. Phase 3: The Impact When the shell hits the enemy army, it doesn't rely on chemical explosives like gunpowder or TNT. It uses pure Kinetic Energy. The Penetration: The shell slams into the earth at over 8,500 m/s, punching 15 to 20 meters deep into the dirt and bedrock in a fraction of a millisecond. The Kinetic Explosion: All that speed is instantly violently converted into heat and pressure. The impact releases 1.8 Gigajoules of energy—roughly equivalent to a 1,000-pound bomb detonating underground. The Fireball: A blinding, 20,000°C plasma sphere erupts from the ground, accompanied by a mountain-shaking shockwave. Phase 4: The Kill Zones & The Aftermath For the military force caught in the blast, the destruction happens in expanding rings: Ground Zero (0–8 Meters): Total Erasure. Tanks, bunkers, and infantry are instantly vaporized by the heat and pressure. The Lethal Shock (8–30 Meters): Mechanical Kill. The overpressure shockwave flips 40-ton armored vehicles into the air and crushes military structures flat. Survival rate is 0%. The Heat Flash (30–75 Meters): Incineration. The expanding plasma bubble flash-cooks the air, igniting fuel tanks, ammo crates, and anything flammable. The Concussion (75–150 Meters): Soldiers are thrown by the blast wind, and the sheer noise deafens anyone in the radius.
FOR MERKING THE BOTS!!! So the physics behind this is very confusing but basically (according to my not that credible sources) when one electromagnet flashes on then off, it induces electricity within the metallic shell, then that in turn, creates it's own magnetic field which reppels the one from the electromagnet/barrel causing it to go WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! (it's called a induction coilgun and it needs a lot of electricity but since we have spark, that's not a problem) (The shell is supposed to be accelerated to around mach 25)
