As you all know, recently the higher-ups at Scratch have implemented a new rule that AI can now train to become better using YOUR PROJECTS!!! This means your art and code could, at this very moment, be being used to make AI art without your consent or even credit! Like pretty much everyone, I am highly against this decision. This is putting the creativity of MINORS (including me) up to be used by AI without the permission of the child or parent. At the very least, allow people to choose whether this can happen to their projects or not! Even worse, the ST wasn't even informed until this became a widespread problem. Scratch has been slowly dying bit by bit, but it seems like this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. The only option, I'm afraid, is to stop posting to keep your projects safe. I'm going to put Condition Critical and ALL OTHER PROJECTS AND PLANS on hold for now, at least until this all blows over. I'm truly sorry to those who are taking part in the Episode 3 MAP, but you can continue your scenes; just don't make them public until this gets better. For now, be like Helium Atom and join the cause!
