EDIT: I've been told that Scratch is not going to train AI off of projects anymore, but the MAP is still closed because I am currently busy with school. I will keep this project up since I have linked it to a few people. OLD INSTRUCTIONS BELOW -- ❗ In short: My MAP is now closed. I do not want to host a MAP on Scratch if they want to go this route. I am also not going to publish anymore projects until this is all cleared up. ❗ ⚠️ [PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!] ⚠️ I have been on Scratch for 7 years of my life, it hurts so much to see it go downhill. Scratch has never been perfect, but it inspired me to keep improving my art and it has inspired me to look into game development and coding. I have learned some Javascript and HTML because of Scratch. Like ROBLOX, Scratch wants to go the generative AI route. It is in the TOS that Scratch is able to train AI off of your projects. AI is unethical in so many ways. Generative AI makes it so some areas do not have access to water, many have spoken up about how their water was shut off because an AI company "needed" it. There is only so much water we can use in the world, and AI companies are using it too. Not to mention, generative AI steals from artists. Scratch is a platform with many young artists on it and these young artists may not know of the true dangers of generative AI. Generative AI is disgusting to have on a children's site, and it hurts that children need to worry about such issues now. Because of this, I cannot host a MAP on this site without feeling disgust. So my Aurora Borealis MAP is closed. I apologize to everyone who wanted to see this MAP come together, I am disappointed that this project can not be finished.
