im tired now -_- - - - anyway without further ado - heres luna's backstory !! - - - this is gonna be quick and simple ( hopefully ) because im tired ToT basically one day the planet kinda exploded ( dont ask me why idk yet ) ,, but then during this process a bunch of gods/deities out of the energy that was realsed during the explosion. ( it makes more sense in my head ). thats how luna was created. anyway each god/deity formed a sort of connection to a planet/star in their solar system,, anyway even thought at first none of them knew how to use their powers, some instinctual feeling sorta took them over and they time traveled back before the explosion and used their powers to fix the unstable energy in their planets core,, yay :D eventually the other creatures with high conscious found out about these gods/deities and started worshipping them. anyway,, a bunch of the gods/deities were like way more loved than others and this created a bunch of tension. however, they all wanted to protect their worshippers/the creatures on their planet. so basically that planet ( the creatures) was stabilizing the galaxies ( the gods) ( heheh full circle ). - skipping details here cause, uhh, im not sure about them yet lol - luna,, god of the moon, became the god of the afterlife too. but because of that she was seen by worshippers as scary and more of a threat than a protector. of course all luna wanted was to guide spirits and help people out. soooo,, this made her sad, cause every other god was loved and worshipped and she was kinda just there. luna was a kind soul tho,, and she wouldnt get angry with jealousy. instead she decided she would become an angel for the sun god. breaking her conection to the moon and letting go of her role as the care taker of the afterlife. no creature wanted this,, as far as they were concerned luna was becoming a sun angel to corrupt the sun god., aurora. however, aurora gladly excepted luna into her ranks, destroying her connection to the moon and freeing her of her loneliness and sorrow....or so she thought. but luna, her one and only connection broken, feels true loneliness for the first time. still hated and ignored and now in unfamiliar lands ( the cloudscape/heavens ) surrounded by real sun angels. - - - thats all !! i hope you dont mind that i took the liberty of redesiging her for this?? ( i definitly prefer your design, but i wanted this art to match her story :D ) anyway im thinking of adding her to orieons world and creating lore where they go on a quest to bring her back to the afterlife because the planet was unbalanced when she left :D
