So, we’ve all obviously heard about the new ToS. I know a lot of people are leaving, and a lot of people have decided to stop posting their art because of this. I honestly never expected ST to go this low. What they’re doing is ruining artist’s lives, and for what? Something that should have never even been created in the first place? I’m not going to go into much further detail about what happened, since most of you have probably seen at least one other project that someone has posted about this. What I am going to state, though, is what this means for me, and what this means for ppm and fwe. Peachpaw’s Mystery is the comic that me and @Lilyclaw54321 have been working on for quite a bit now, and we don’t have anywhere else we’re able to post it. Because of this, the plan for right now at least is to keep posting it on scratch. However, at least on my end, things are still up in the air as of right now. The Foxwings Experiment is a comic I’ve started recently, with chapter one still being a work in progress. This means that I haven’t actually posted any chapters yet, but I did post a project a little while ago asking people if they were interested in me starting it. Because of scratch’s recent developments, I’ve decided to stop working on it for now, and I won’t continue to work on it or to post it until something changes. And so now that I’ve addressed what this means for the comics, I’m going to address what this means for me. Scratch has been my home for almost three years now. Three years doesn’t seem like a lot to some people, but considering that I was ten years old when I started this account, three years feels like a lot. In that time I’ve made so many friends, learned a whole lot of things both about myself and about life that I wouldn’t have known previously, and scratch helped me to become the artist that I am now. And so because of this, leaving scratch is still out there for me, but as of right now at least I intend to stay and fight for our rights as artists. We can’t let AI take over the website that we’ve all come to love so much, and so I encourage you to protest, in whatever way that might look for you. We can’t let ST ruin life for artists like this. In the meantime, Peachpaw’s Mystery will continue to be shared for those who enjoy it, but I don’t think I’m going to be posting any more art other than things for that. So please, do whatever you can to fight back against this. I love y’all, -Tori
