BUT NOW???? ST COME ON BRO. like ik I didn't look at the tos bc I'm actually stupid (I cant BELIEVE I didn't look at it) but STILL??? artists and children literally trusted you. like most of us are MINORS. (and also why r u asking us what specific STATE we live in like no need to be creepy. what ya using that data for huh :raisedeyebrows:) why are you leeching off of us bruh. the merch / membership was ok but now THIS?? and especially the artists. who gave you the right to give OUR art, OUR ocs, OUR styles and just give it up to ai??? like. money hungry much?? THIS IS A WEBSITE BASED AROUND CREATIVITY. not gonna get much of that when all your artists are gone, huh? ai literally takes all that we are and churns it out for a profit and it doesn't take into account what we artists DID to get this far. what about those countless hours drawing? what about our cringy art phases (everyone has / had one. and it helped us grow as artists!!)? where is the soul and the spark that we have?? and just feeding it into ai so it becomes a surface level replication of the PASSION we have? even if scratch decides to take back this decision I'm pretty sure most ppl wont come back. you literally destroyed ALL the trust we had in you. my work is probably being fed into ai rn (bc I didn't read the freaking tos. but then again I wouldnt be here to tell u this bc WE LITERALLY COULD NOT OPT OUT OF IT IF WE WANTED TO GET BACK INTO SCRATCH). like isnt this a place to be creative? to share our precious work THAT WE DID NOT *CONSENT* TO FEED INTO AI? where is all of that if you turn to ai??? I'm seriously disappointed. everything is just money in the end, isn't it? uhh srry for the rant :/ below is things about whats coming next for me idk if im gonna leave or whatever so uh. I rlly rlly wanna finish it bc I don't wanna leave y'all hanging BUT if this ai situation gets bad I might just cancel :( in that case yall will be able to keep ur designs, apologies if this does happen! idk much about the ai thing going on so if anyone has info about that could you please share it? ty <3 im still prob gonna post, maybe get nightshade / glaze idk (edit I unfortunately cant do that as my main drawing device is a chromebook & it only works on windows or mac. so uh am I cooked :heartbroken: idk what im gonna do atp, anyone have suggestions? bc its like a school chromebook (they restrict websites so-) & my pc has screen time + website restrictions and im pretty sure my parents would not care bout this honestly) things I want to do b4 I leave if I can! will try to do them if I can & post them here. but then ill prob go to mag or smth idk. might still check back tho! priority level (most to least) - [top priority] map part -- will most likely finish. I hope!! bc this is my 1st map part & I'm rlly rlly proud of it so far, I wanna see the map complete! <3 or at least my own part lol - [mid priority] design contest -- I really really wanna finish up on this one, bc all of yall made great designs that I really like :) - [low priority] comms / trades -- I still need to finish up those so yeah. closed indefinitely so I can finish them, if I cant ill have to cancel :( this community has been so so welcoming and kind! if I do leave I hope to see yall on the other side ;D stay safe yall <3
