(I suggest you make a comment here) I did not want to make this project. Here's the thing, after the TOS changes that happened I have no words for that, because now there is parental permission that's needed from scratch. I'm serious. That worries me because the scratch friends (which are most of the online friends I have) might be cooked due to the many MANY VERIFICATION That is happening on many parts on the world, whether it's email, ID, etc. I mean there is the fact that Scratch is adding Ai, which I feel like there following another certain kids website. the reason I'm not that mad about it is because unlike that platform they are actually trying to listen to the community via forums and not using data to cover art (but like again it might ngl). However the fact they use ai as data for like recommendations, coding and MODERATION is concerning especially since Ai can get things wrong. I've seen stories where innocent people get screwed up because of those moderation. That also means I can't defend them by saying they are a human team which is their fault but oh well. I'm hoping that ST doesn't lay off the staff or even better still expand the moderation team as in humans because I don't think Ai moderation is the way to go. The coding thing is also concerning. Remembering 2020-2021 when it was still the pandemic there were a lot of copy and paste games, I'm hoping that this update won't take us back to that- At the same time what are they gonna recommend for like animation, 1000x hitspacks or something- (this is gonna hurt animators more than game makers, believe me) It might also hurt artists too because they are feeding us to AI. Either way I'm way more concerned if that means that some of my friends are locked behind because there is a privacy thing. I might have accepted the terms itself and I'm fine but... I just wonder if there are people out there who did get screwed over by this update.
